Laura Thomas M.Ed.

As a psychotherapist, I’ve worked with teens and their parents throughout my career, helping them find practical solutions to real-world challenges. Through my own journey as a parent, I understand the fears, frustrations, and uncertainties that often come with raising teenagers.

I also know how powerful it can be to receive encouragement, guidance, and a sense of “you’ve got this” from someone who truly understands.

Parentology is about more than just advice—it’s about fostering growth, connection, and community. Whether you’re looking for one-on-one support, group coaching, or simply a place to feel heard and supported, I’m here to guide you every step of the way!

Let’s take on the teen years—together.

Why I Created Parentology World

For years, I’ve seen parents desperate for help, only to be told their teen wasn’t ‘bad enough’ to access support.

The final straw came in the summer of 2024, when a mum reached out, exhausted and desperate to help her daughter. Services told her there wasn’t enough need—but her daughter’s scars told a different story.

That was it. I knew something had to change.

I created Parentology World to cut through the red tape, offering real, accessible support for parents who just want to help their teen—before things get worse. Because you shouldn’t have to wait for a crisis to get the help you need.
